This was such a fun book, I genuinely had a dream the night I finished it, boybands skating demons is right up my street! 

Come Alive: A book where a character finally accepts themselves.

Skylarks by Karen Gregory

I’ve just finished reading this one, I loved how Joni finally accepted how her life was, she was never going to be very wealthy. But she just decided that was okay. 

The Other Side: A character who changes your opinion of them.

Steph, from After by Anna Todd

I really liked her character…and then! Ugh, I’ve never hated a character so much! 

Never Enough – An author/series you could never get enough of.

My favourite series and author of all time, this book was what started my love for reading so I kind of owe it a lot! 

This Is Me – A book you love despite everyone hating it.

One of us is lying by Karen McManus

I read so many bad/1 star reviews for this and I give it a 5 star review! I loved it! It was cliche, yes, but it was supposed to have a lot of stereotypes. 

Rewrite The Stars – A bookish OTP that overcame a lot to finally be together.

Hardin and Tessa from After by Anna Todd

These are the first pair that come to mind, there was so much drama in the series that they went through, it was crazy! But I loved it! 

Tightrope: A book/series that gives you trust issues.

The Extinction Trials by Susan Wilson 

I spent most of that book being so worried about someone turning on the other, just waiting for betrayals to happen!

From now on: A book you’ve ignored for so long, you need to read it ASAP.

Oh I have so many, Hmm one that’s probably be on my shelf the longest is After The Fire by Will Hill.

  2. I really enjoyed Slay and Skylarks too, and I also gave One of Us is Lying 5 stars. I was hugely sceptical going in as the Breakfast Club is one of my fave films and it’s semi based on that, but I loved it in a totally different way (though I think it’s super fun that my fave character in both is the athlete)

      1. It’s a fabulous film, slightly dated in some ways but still relevant in others. I personally prefer Pretty in Pink, but the Breakfast Club is fab and has some amazing quotes. Hope you enjoy it! X
        (OOUIL had a tagline of the Breafast Club with murder at one point I think, and it’s pretty accurate 💜)

  3. Is it bad that I still haven’t watched this film yet?! Haha. I’ve been meaning to, but I keep forgetting! Interesting tag post though, hadn’t seen this one before. I find that if I was to do these type of posts that I would find it so difficult to answer some of the questions, haha. Great post 🙂
