I found this fab booktag here on the lovely Jemma’s page.
I wasn’t tagged, but it was a super fun tag, I love love doing tags, I’ll tag a few of you on Twitter!
Question One: How many books do you currently own?
I just counted the books on the little box shelves in my room which is 78, and then my actual bookshelf I would guess to be about 100, so nearly 200 physical books. I try to donate my books after reading them, as I just don’t have enough room to keep everyone, just keep/display my favourites.
Question Two: How many books are you currently reading?
I’m reading two books at the minute, one I’m reading quite slowly as I’m not hooked but I wasn’t to finish it, and one I’ve just started.
Question Three: Choose a couple books you read but didn’t enjoy?
I didn’t enjoy any of the John Green books that I read, apart from The Fault in Our Stars. I was disappointed with the others, Looking For Alaska, Paper Towns and Will Grayson, Will Grayson (DNF’d that one).
Question Four: A cover buy?
I’m such a magpie when it comes to cute covers, one I immediately think of is My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick.
Question Five: A book you own but hate the cover of?
Bright Side by Kim Holden is a bit disappointing for me, I guess, that book has been on my TBR forever, the cover is a bit plain, but… I’m not going to judge it by its cover at all!
Question Six: A book you haven’t read in years?
The Twilight Saga, one of the first book series’ I ever read and became obsessed with, I was a teenager back then, I have always intended to do a reread, but I’ve never gotten around to it.
Question Seven: A book you will always recommend?
There’s so many books I adore and recommend to my friends, I mainly read romance and After by Anna Todd is what started that love, so I’ll always recommend that one to any dramatic romance lovers, but I also know that my tastes might be very different from others, so I’ll just recommend a book based on what they like, if I can.
Question Eight: All time favourite book series?
Either After by Anna Todd or DIMILY by Estelle Maskame, both series’ I read in my late teens/early twenties and loved so much.
Question Nine: Where do you read?
Most of the time in bed, but if I’m at my grans or somewhere else, then just a comfy chair or sofa.
Question Ten: What are the last two books you gave a 5 star rating? and why?
The Places I’ve Cried In Public by Holly Bourne, because I felt like it was such a hard hitting and important story, it was so well written and I really liked it.
Josh and Hazel’s Guide To Not Dating by Christina Lauren, I love all CLo books, this one was a super fun read that I thoroughly enjoyed and couldn’t put down.
