Are You Ready for Sweater Weather? The Autumn Tag

I loved this tag when I saw it on Jenn’s page, it’s really original and perfect for this time of year, thanks for creating this one Jenn, check out her post here…

Rules: Answer the questions, link back to the creator (Jenn) and tag other people!

 1. Hot Chocolate – what is your comfort book?

Hmm, I don’t reread a lot of books, as I just have so many on my TBR, but there 64CE2E95-77FC-45AF-94BD-77008663A589have been a few I have reread over and over, and the one I go back to most is After by Anna Todd.

2. Pumpkin Carving – what is your favourite creative outlet?

I don’t actually do a lot of ‘creative’ things, I guess writing would be the only one, I do love writing every now and then, nothing series, just stories that pop into my head.

 3. Falling Leaves – changes that appear bad but you secretly love?

This one is a bit ambiguous, it can refer to your life or fictional changes in books & movies!

Oh this is tough, I don’t think I can think of any in my life, maybe friendship group changes, that happened a lot in the last year or so and at first I hated it, but I feel like my friendships are more real now, even though I don’t have as many ‘friends’ as I once would have.

4. Pumpkin Spiced Latte – something you love that others tend to judge.

Hmm, my favourite book series (After by
Anna Todd) gets quite a bit of hate, it was originally a Harry Styles fanfic (AU Harry) and people seriously hated it, but I just love it, and I love Harry! Ha!

 5. Bonfire Night – what makes you explode with joy?

This is such a great one, ah so many things! My doggo, my friends, my mum, Reading a really good Book, watching a CFC50D74-BA9E-497A-BA53-84D518B75B3Cmovie whilst being super cosy in bed, chai lattes, sunday dinners and much much more, I’m pretty easy to fill with joy…

  6. Fright Night – favourite scary book or film.

I love scary things, but it takes a lot to really scare me! I loved Frozen Charlotte, I didn’t find it scary really but I thought the story was great!

And movies hmm I did find a few bits in The Conjuring Scary, and the Netflix series Haunting of Hill House was quite jumpy.

  7. Halloween candy – favourite thing to eat.

Oh so so many things, ha! My favourite meal is a proper Sunday dinner, closely followed by salted chilli chips from the Chinese.

And snacks, I love sweeties.

 8. Scarves – your autumn ‘must have’ accessory.

Boot, alllllll the boots, paired with cute dresses and tights.

  9. Fire – a book or film that burns your soul.

I’m going to go with the book that made me cry so much and literally hurt my D6343819-B457-41B6-B529-6A0CA0F965B9heart so many times which was The Bronze Horseman, plus Tatiana and Alexander (the second in the trilogy).

 10. Toffee apples – a book or film that seems one thing but really has a different inside.

I’m going to go with the book that I am currently reading, Beautiful Disaster,  I’d heard so much about this, I don’t think it’s hugely different plot wise from what I assumed, but… I think it is quite immature and I was expecting much much more, not to roll my eyes and get annoyed everyone other page at the silly things that are happening. I’m continuing it as I really want to know how it ends, but from the hype I’d seen I expected way better.
